Your job as a DevOps Developer Monitoring?

In this job you are part of one of the three scrum teams RIM Monitoring. This team is responsible for the CA/Broadcom applications platform. We deliver monitoring services for large enterprise customers, as well as KPN departments.

The teams are working via the agile/scrum way of working. We are facing the challenge to renew our product portfolio which means you will join a dynamic, diverse team.

As DevOps Developer you have plenty of opportunities to bring new ideas into our domain to make use of new technologies. Our customers require us to deliver more pro-active monitoring solutions, requiring us to become more data driven. Also we have the ambition to implement DevOps practices and create a more flexible platform.

As a DevOps Team member you will perform, development, testing, maintenance and automation activities. You ensure the 24/7 availability of the services and applications. You will work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders.

Your ambition is to develop your personal skills and craftsmanship. You are 100% dedicated, passionate and enjoy reaching our team goals. You are an enthusiastic team player and help us grow as an autonomous team. You will continue to develop your expertise and are sharing your knowledge within the team. You take initiatives (short and long term) for product, technical and (innovative) improvements.

What do we expect?

  • HBO/Bachelor/University level in information technology (ICT/IT) and large experience with business processes
  • Programming skills, one or more languages like PHP / Python, Unix shell scripting
  • Experience in Automated Design, Deployment, Delivery & Implementation, Run & Maintain in an applications environment       
  • Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux and databases
  • Experience with building HTML (user) interfaces
  • Good communication skills, technical and functional
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a multi-cultural team
  • Experience in agile/scrum way of working
  • Experience with monitoring tools for applications and network (is preferred)
