Samen met jouw teams zorg je voor de stabiliteit en innovatie van systemen die cruciaal zijn voor miljoenen mobiele gebruikers. Werk mee aan de toekomst van mobiele netwerken, zoals het vervanging van onze bestaande Mobile Core en de transitie naar Autonomous Operations. Your role as Manager Mobile data subscriber management

In this role, you will lead three DevOps teams comprising approximately 25 professionals. You will ensure the stability and security of systems within the critical mobile chain and translate complex customer needs into innovative solutions. Thanks to your leadership, KPN continues to shape the future of mobile networks, focusing on:

  • Provisioning new customers in our mobile networks
  • Managing the database for all 2G, 4G, and 5G subscribers (HLR, HSS, UDM)
  • Developing solutions for (e)SIMs

Additionally, you will:

  • Manage annual investment (CAPEX) and operational costs (OPEX)
  • Translate strategic objectives from the KPN organization into a technical roadmap for the next 3-5 years
  • Take responsibility, together with your team, for the stability and security of systems that play a critical role within the mobile infrastructure
  • Represent KPN in discussions with government agencies on regulations and compliance
  • Work with your team to implement innovations, such as the Autonomous Operations strategy and the replacement of the current HLR/HSS environment

To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • Master’s degree level of thinking and working 
  • 5-10 years of experience in telecom within technical (leadership) roles in mobile networks
  • The ability to define a vision and translate it into a strategy and long-term roadmap (3-5 years)
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic insight
  • Experience in preparing and presenting decision documents at various organizational levels

  • Gross monthly salary between €6,576 and €10,389, depending on your experience (based on 40 hours)
  • A fixed 13th-month salary, partially paid monthly and partially in January, or you can allocate it to a FLEX & BOOST goal of your choice
  • Annual individual and collective salary increases according to our collective labor agreement (CAO)
  • €1,500 per year for personal development, which you can use for training, coaching, or courses
