Your role as DevOps Engineer Identity Management

This is your team

You work within a self-organizing DevOps team (approximately 10 members) where you focus on transitioning to new technology, network provisioning, automation, and virtualization. Our team consists of expert senior engineers with extensive knowledge and experience in the Mobile Core Network World and a 24/7 support mindset. Within the department, you will collaborate with colleagues from all over the world.

The User Management team is involved in critical parts of KPN's mobile Core network. The team is building a completely new mobile Core network from Ericsson, focusing on HLR/HSS, UDM/UDR, and EDA.

You will participate in the development, testing, and managing of Ericsson network functions.

What will you bring us?

Basic knowledge of 3GPP
Scripting skills in AWK and Python
Understanding of protocols such as Diameter, MAP, SS7, Sigtran, SOAP, CAMEL, TCP/IP, SCCP, SCTP, MTP3, and IPv4/IPv6
Knowledge of automation and CI/CD processes
Thorough knowledge of Ericsson's mobile Core network, including HLR/HSS,AAA, provisioning, 5G (UDM and UDR), and mobile services
Expertise in mobile provisioning and number portability
Affinity with virtual and containerized network functions
Knowledge of network security
On-call service
Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)

A fixed 13th-month salary, partially paid monthly and partially in January, or you can allocate it to a FLEX & BOOST goal of your choice

Excellent pension plan: 23% total contribution, with KPN covering 16% and you contributing 7%
