Statement of Investment Principles
On 6 June 2019, the Government published the Occupational Pension Schemes (Investment and Disclosure) Regulations (‘the Regulations’). The Regulations come into force on 30 September 2019. As a result of the Regulations, Trustees are now required to publish their SIPs online for members to access from 1 October 2019 and their annual implementation report (setting out how they acted on the principles set out in their SIP) from 1 October 2020.
The effective date of this Statement is September 2019. The Trustee will review this Statement and the Plan’s investment strategy no later than three years after the effective date of this statement and without delay after any significant change in investment policy.
The Plan comprises two sections: one providing Final Salary benefits and the other providing Money Purchase benefits. This statement is for the Money Purchase section of the Plan only. The Appendix to this Statement contain further detail of the investment strategy and may be updated from time to time without updating this Statement.

Chair Statement
Since April 2015, the Trustee of the Plan has been required to prepare an annual governance statement signed by the Chairman of the Scheme, known as the “Chairman’s Statement”.
New regulations came into force on April 6, 2018, requiring additional information in relation to investment charges and core transaction costs to be made available online to members via the Chairman’s Statement. The Chairman’s Statement includes information on investment charges and core transaction costs, along with greater explanation and illustration in effect of the investment charges and core transactions costs on members retirement savings. This site contains the required information.
