Your role as IT Young Talent Program

You will work on new and creative projects, where you can make a real impact. You will receive support from your manager, talent manager, buddy and mentor.
You make the difference through your commitment, enthusiasm and your enormous new business mindset. KPN is an innovative company and is always looking for new ideas.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other teams within KPN and build a network.
In addition to all the varied assignments, you will work on your personal development at De Baak. You will do this together with a group of other dedicated talents.

More about your position

This is your team

KPN's Talent Program is a three-year traineeship that trains you to become a top professional or manager at KPN. In three years you will get to know the organization, focus on your personal development and work on your organizational skills. Within the traineeship, a manager, talent manager, buddy and mentor are ready to support you. Together with the other talents within Finance, Data and Commerce, you will have a great time!

What will you bring us?

As a talent at KPN, you will be looking for your qualities. During the application process, we will look for the best match within KPN. We do ask if you meet the following expectations, but can you surprise us with extra activities you have done besides your studies?

An HBO, WO Bachelor or Master in, for example, one of the following fields; AI, Cyber security, Physics or Computer Science
Experience with programming
You can translate technical issues into business terms
You have up to 2 years work experience after your studies
You speak and write fluent Dutch

What will you get from us

During this program, you start as a full-fledged employee at KPN. Of course, that comes with great conditions.

A gross monthly salary of € 3440 based on 37 hours.
Optional time up to 40 hours per week, giving you up to 8.5% extra gross salary
A bonus of 10.5% of your gross monthly salary (including 8% vacation allowance)
A variable bonus
A permanent contract from day one
An annual individual and collective raise in accordance with our CLA
Good career and training opportunities and a personal training budget of € 2500. In fact, we expect you to keep developing!
A good work-life balance (such as 2 days in the office, 3 days at home, transitional leave, holiday swapping to a holiday of your religious or cultural preference)
Home office to optimize your workplace at home, of course with a cell phone & laptop
50% discount on KPN products and services, such as KPN internet
A travel allowance for commuting: such as our bicycle allowance of € 0.40 per kilometer, or € 0.23 per kilometer, or full reimbursement 2nd class public transport. In addition, you get € 10 per month internet allowance and a home office allowance of € 2,35 per day
Excellent pension conditions: a total contribution of 23% of your pensionable salary, of which KPN contributes 16% and you 7%.
