As a Junior Compliance Officer in the Network of the Netherlands, you will be dealing with challenging issues. In this versatile and dynamic role, you will make a significant contribution to an ethical and sustainable organization as we strive for a #betterinternet.

Your role as Junior Compliance Officer

You will be the point of contact for the business and management regarding compliance and integrity issues. You will provide advice on relevant laws and regulations, such as telecommunications and competition law, as well as security-related legislation. You will work closely with your colleagues from Compliance, Privacy, and Ethics, as well as other departments such as Legal, Risk Management, CISO, and Audit.

In this position:

You will investigate incidents, coordinate them, and follow up;
You will coordinate the implementation of new laws and regulations;
You will identify compliance risks and make them manageable;
You will raise awareness by providing training;
You will maintain contacts with regulators regarding ongoing cases;
You will report to the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer.

More about your position

This is your team

You will work in the Compliance, Privacy, and Ethics (CPE) team, a diverse team of 10 enthusiastic professionals. The team operates in a hybrid manner but meets at the office in Rotterdam at least twice a week. An open-minded, honest, and trustworthy attitude characterizes the team. The CPE team is part of the General Counsel Office, which also includes the legal teams and the Corporate Security Office. Together, they are responsible for promoting an ethical corporate culture and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations by KPN.

You are also solution-oriented and able to quickly grasp business processes. Naturally, we expect a Compliance Officer to be honest and reliable.

Additionally, we require:

Academic level of education and thinking;
Fluent command of the Dutch language!;
At least one year of relevant work experience in the compliance field;
Experience with the Telecommunications Act, competition law, and/or completion of a compliance training are a plus.

A gross monthly salary in accordance with the collective labor agreement (CAO), depending on your work experience based on 37 hours
Flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week, allowing you to receive a maximum of 8.5% of your gross salary
A supplement of 10.5% of your gross monthly salary (including 8% holiday pay)
A variabele-bonus scheme of 7% scale 10
Annual individual and collective salary increases in line with our collective labor agreement

Excellent pension benefits: a total contribution of 23% of your pensionable salary, of which KPN contributes 16% and you contribute 7%
