Your role as Data DevOps Engineer

As THE future proof Data DevOps Engineer you will contribute to make KPN a fully data driven company. The Data & AI Office (DAO) is part of the Technology and Digital Office (TDO) within KPN. DAO is responsible for enabling a digital data driven KPN.

Do you have ambitions in the field of Business Intelligence and working with big telecom data? Would you like to participate in a team that works on making KPN Customer interaction data-driven?

Then you might be the new colleague we are looking for. You will work in a multidisciplinary team on insights that will bring value to improve customer experience.

What will you bring us?

We’re looking for someone who brings solid experience and a passion for building great data solutions. You have at least three years of experience working with Enterprise Data Warehouses and Data Marts, along with a minimum of two years in Data Modelling. You’re confident in Python—or another programming language—and have hands-on experience with Big Data.

You’ve worked in a cloud environment, ideally Azure, and you enjoy designing and writing clean, maintainable code that’s backed by meaningful tests. Linux feels familiar to you, and you can navigate Windows just as well.

You know how to automate data pipelines using CI/CD and appreciate the value of unit tests as a natural part of your coding process. Above all, you bring a problem-solving mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a drive to turn data into actionable insights.

You are familiar with technical skills such as:

A gross monthly salary starting from € 5038 to a maximum of € 7575 depending on your work experience, based on a 40-hour workweek.
